Most importantly, LISTEN to what she says and follow up with questions/comments to what she says. Even if it's about something you don't know anything about/don't have much interest.
"Oh, your favorite show is the Office? I've never seen it. Why do you like it so much?"
""I'm always impressed that people like you love shopping for clothes, I can't stand it. I'll need your help next time I go shopping...."
Also, ALL girls enjoy hearing that they look pretty, so be sure you tell her that when you pick her up
