You basically drive 10 minutes up Provo Canyon for the Falls, easy paved 15 min walk, get in car drive 15 min to Sundance, have lunch (excellent restaurants), hop in car drive further past Sundance on the same road and amazing fall colors about 1 hour drive

If you fly into SLC, you could reverse the order and head up through American Fork canyon to start the Alpine loop
