If that really is true, then that means Catchings was beating out Mag and
Saunders for starting at the 4. A bit surprising, but let's run with it.
Then what follows is Catchings will enter a packed battle to start at SF against those same guys plus Knell and Demin probably.

SG: Baker vs Demin
SF: Catchings vs Saunders vs Mag vs Knell vs Demin
Due to lack of ball handling and individual shot creation, I see Saunders and Knell more as wing forwards than guards, and I would suspect absent a distributing 5-man coach will want good ball handling at the other guard spot alongside Hall. Am I wrong on that?

Seems pretty clear things fell through, I think. A lot had to go right, probably, for him to successfully get to Provo.

It's true. And it could shift Kanon to the 3 & Demin to the 2. With Hall/Baker at 1 & Fouss/Keita at 5.

That's a lot of freak'n height, mobility & skill to be backed by two defensive beasts in Richie & Mawot.

I expect him to mostly play backup 2 this year. He was given too many unreasonable matchups last season.
