Family rented a cabin at island park in Idaho for a family reunion. This was 20+ years ago. My uncle owned a boat and the cabin was on the water so we had lots a fun. One afternoon a fancy boat with loud music goes zooming by us when we had a red flag up. My uncle being the hot head he was starts yelling expletives at the boat along with not so friendly hand gestures. The boat sees this and whips around to confront my uncle. They started jarring at each other from about 50 yards then the boats drift closer together and us nephews being ISU hometowners start to realize who’s in the boat threatening to beat up my uncle. None other than the hoge brothers. Marty and Merril. At this point they are pretty close and my uncle is still irate and screaming at them. Finally they leave and we start laughing at my uncle that he almost got beaten up by Merril hoge. Funny family moment we still laugh about.
