Hershiser was talking about it on the broadcast during Miller's last start. He said his step-back on the full wind-up has been too strong, which puts his head, body and arm slot out of alignment as he moves toward the plate. Miller has also talked about how he had lessened the step back in his past few starts and it was helping, but he still wasn't in alignment consistently. Looks like he had a relapse in the start tonight. His command was not there.
