There is indeed a limit to dressing 15 players but no roster limit. Can dress different roster players each game. So,
for example, BYU might have 13 scholarship players and 5 walk-ons, any 15 among them can dress for any game.

Currently, NCAA basketball teams can have as many players on their roster as they choose, but they are limited to dressing 15 players for each game. This means that while a team might have a larger roster, only 15 players can participate in a game.

For men's basketball, the scholarship limit is set at 13, while women's basketball allows for 15 scholarships. This distinction is important as it affects how teams manage their rosters and scholarships.

Starting in the 2025-26 academic year, new roster limits are expected to be implemented across NCAA sports, including basketball, as part of a settlement agreement involving changes to scholarship rules. However, the specific roster limit for basketball will remain at 15 players.
