I'm so astonished that those have continued to hit my account daily now going on
for years. It's got to be just a computer launching them. I get like 5-8 every day of the same context (Netflix account has expired, I've won some gift, Costco membership cancelled, Hulu subscription cancelled, FedEx package can't be delivered, etc.). If they are sent out by computer, very easy do, but if someone has to physically create so many new emails, wow, use that energy for a real job.

The only ones I can imagine that are successful are those with their first email accounts. Otherwise, you'd have to be very lame to fall for any with such a constant barrage.

Way back many years ago when I got my first Netflix email asking for a review, I was really upset with a program Netflix was broadcasting called Designated Survivor. The 3rd season, suddenly EVERYONE had a bad potty-mouth. It was like you went from being in the 1st grade one day to being in your senior year. I found out they had changed writers and it was so obvious and I wanted to express my displeasure to Netflix, where I watched it. I let my ire get the best of me, because I should have realized I didn't have a Netflix account. Our adult daughter had one and since she still lived at home, she shared it with us. It's been a good decade ago, so I don't remember all the particulars, but I ended up with a bunch of purchases on my card. I just could have kicked myself for being so stupid to not have realized instantly that it was bogus. It was just that we had been using this Netflix account for a few years and with all the other subscriptions I had, I had forgotten this one wasn't mine.
