FSU has had a rare recent good year last several years (since they really cooled off in 2017). FSU totally dominated the late 80s to early 2000s. Starting in 1977 especially 1979 FSU was ranked pretty much every week. Starting in 1987 they were almost always top 10 until early 2001 and much more often than not top 5, including almost half the 90s when they were #1 almost half the weeks. Through early 2006 they were still generally ranked. 2010 to early 2017 again ranked most weeks and #1 or 2 all of 2014. Good late 2022 and really good 2023. Most of those weeks/ years they were ranked because they were really good. Recruited with the best teams in the country. Wow has this year started off poorly.
