Mine is not the hybrid. It does not have any lag time with acceleration and have not had any issues on the freeway or passing slower moving vehicles. My last van was a Nissan quest and that had some difficulties. My two sister in laws both own the odysea. They love them but when I have driven them I haven’t noticed any difference with acceleration or handling in my limited experience with them.
