When I order a meal on DoorDash it can't be as simple as me placing my order, paying, and getting the delivery. There are a bunch of notifications through the process, even if the process is on track. If you told me 20 minutes I can wait 20 minutes before wondering why it isn't on my doorstep. Communicate deviations instead of every step. But then, even after getting the food there is always a pop up asking for my reaction to the meal or the delivery person.

Why is every interaction being turned into a relationship with constant communication back and forth through the process?

If I buy something in a store I get requests for reviews for the next few weeks. Why can't I hand over my money, you hand me the goods... done and dusted?
