Same thing with how reporters want to pronounce Kiev
It is true that the Ukrainian pronunciation is “keev” but we’re in America speaking English… it’s “Ki ev”
If people insist on Keev I question what they call the country next to France that builds all the great automobiles… I’ll bet they use the English pronunciation then…
It’s ok to speak English even when talking about other places
