Yeah. Rising had impressive throws last week. He threw 5 touchdowns in the first half and sat the entire 2nd half out.

There’s something these numbers don’t show though. It seemed to me that his leg is maybe 75 percent recovered. He can run in a straight line but he doesn’t seem to have leg strength for quick lateral movements. This wasn’t much of an issue against SUU, but it will become a big limitation against stronger defenses later this year. If he is able to play the whole season, he won’t be much of a dual threat like he used to be.

I predict that he will be go out with another season ending injury in the next week or two.
