After thinking long and hard about it, reading everything I can, following the team for 40+ years, and having a gut feeling (hope?), this is my prediction for the 2024 season:

SIU - W - I think we come out strong with Jake as our QB and win 42-17
SMU - W - remember, SMU has an extra game under their belt to wear off the rust but I still think BYU wins 28-24
Wyo - W - maybe our 2nd hardest game with how bad the Cowboys want it, will be an incredibly hostile environment, but believe the boys in blue will win the day 28-24
K St - W - our Big 12 home opener, are you kidding me? LES will be rockin, and BYU always does well with amazing home environments 21-20
Baylor - W - we enter this game ranked #19 in the AP poll. On paper we have the talent to beat Baylor. It's going to be tough but they're down a bit and we'll be riding high 28 -27
Arizona - W - we enter ranked #16. Another tough test, another Amazing home environment! 31-28.
Okl St - W - not only are we top 15, we're pushing the top 10, ranked #11! If you thought the last 2 home environments were good, wait til this one! 35 - 31
UCF - L - after beating another ranked team in Oklahoma St, we'll be #7 to start this game! But tough trip across the country (in Florida no less), 21-31
Utah - L - we'll start ranked #12. Utah's legit this year, my hope is that Okl St, K St, WVU, KS, or AZ win one more league game. If it were in Provo like it should've been I'd have predicted the exact opposite score 31-34
Az St - W - #19. We'll have a lot of fans down there to beat a down ASU in their inaugural season 31-19
Houston - W - #17. Another big win, should be 2 TDs over the other Cougars 45-31
Alamo vs USC or Pop Tarts Bowl vs ND - L. #15 Even though we lose our bowl game 17-28 a 10-3 season is incredible! And, there's a slight chance we host a CFP game with only 2 losses. Can you imagine Provo and LES if so!!! I would actually give us a decent chance of winning that one!
