I can think of one scenario. If we need utah to beat another Big 12 team late in
the season, which is the only way BYU can win the conference or get into the CFP or NCAA tournament. Basically, if utah wins we're in, and/or if utah loses we're out.
In this scenario, I would cheer for utah, because it would be a huge benefit to BYU, whereas their losing would be a huge detriment to BYU.
