I heard a fantasy football dude talking about Jefferson the other day.
He was saying that when fantasy players are making their picks, they tend to look at the numbers and make picks based on expectations from those numbers. He followed that by saying that people need to remember the human element when doing this - and then talked about Jefferson.

His take was - Sam Darnold is getting a chance to start. He is better than the QB that the Vikings had last year - and he's going to want to prove himself this year. McCarthy is going to heal and be coming back - he's the future for the Vikings. But this is Darnold's chance to prove he deserves a starting spot somewhere - to prove that his play at the Jets and Panthers don't define him. And who is he going to throw to? No one else on the team is as good as Jefferson - so that's going to be his primary target. 30%+ of the balls are going to Jefferson, and he's going to have some good stats.

So his recommendation was pick Jefferson, and that Jefferson would perform better than last year.

I'm curious if he's right - I guess we'll see.
