There are some pretty good burger places now. I recommend Morty's and
Cooks underground. Morty's probably has the best sweet potato fries I've had if you like those.
Roma's is good for Mediterranean. Sabores has a mix of interesting dishes. The OP said probably not Indian, but Himalayan Flavor and Tandoori Oven are good.
Also the best street tacos I've ever had are at Tacos El Robert. Highly recommend them.
