I think we are going to see OL issues again this year. Based on practice observations from some people and what they have said, the OL has struggled considerably at times and has been dominated in the trenches against our DL. I don't believe we have a DL that will be even close to approaching the top half of the conference, either.
Add to the fact that I believe our RB depth feels like it's going to be an issue, we will see running the football again to be difficult and we'll be 1 dimensional again.
I don't believe we have the QB to overcome the running game issues either and accurately hit our WR's consistently enough to take pressure off the lack of a running game.
We should have hit the portal transfer for significant help at OL and added 1 more solid depth piece at RB.
The loss of Saili and not filling that void has created a lot of depth concerns on the interior of the DL... again for like the 6th year in a row. Ironically Saili would have been 1 or 2 at BYU, he is 3rd on the depth chart at Arkansas. But overall I think our Defense will be improved from last year but not enough to hold up against such teams as KState, OSU, Arizona, Utah, UCF and Kansas.
If we had an OL that I believe could win the trench battles more often than not and didn't have the depth concerns at RB, I think 6 wins is very obtainable, maybe even 7 wins... but again this season will come down to OL and the health of our running backs and I just don't have the warm and fuzzy about the OL or RB's at all. 4 wins is very realistic in my opinion, 3 wins would be full blown wheels falling off.
