I have a friend who has a pool service business
It's just him full-time, a couple of part-time relatives, several part-time "kids (pool boys)" during peak periods, a small fleet of small good on gas vehicles and a small amount of equipment. Large inventory of pool chemicals, repair parts and all the stuff he needs which he makes a profit on.

So he makes better than half a million $ a year. Very busy during "pool season" and less busy the rest of the year. Plenty of time off during the less busy part of the year.

He does everything to do with cleaning and maintaining pools, spas, hot tubs, swim spas, whatever. He has a large following of regular customers. So many that it's rare when he can add another regular customer.

This guy is no slacker, he works hard and runs a tight ship. He charges reasonable prices, he could charge more. He's fair and honest. He lives modestly (in most ways) and invests his money. He will be a multi-millionaire working as a "pool boy." No formal education needed for his business although he does have a good education. He's good at running a business and managing his money.

I suppose he works for plenty of "rich girls" but he's got a wife and kids so that's irrelevant. His "pool boy" employees that might be a different story.
