His thinking may come from Bruce R McConkie. He talks about it in his Messiah
series of books. Think about it. Christ came in the meridian of time….around the year 4,000. The millennium starts around the beginning of the 7,000th year and goes 1,000 years. The end comes near that time….8,000 years.
