I believe there should be 4 tiers of tickets. Free student section (current space).
Uber expensive suits (10-20% of space). Expensive season tickets in prime locations (25-35% of space).
Super cheap seats (like $10 per ticket).
Having expensive tickets disconnects the population from the team. You can charge extra for the parking and food and gear. You can ask for additional donations with the tickets. In my case my kids aren’t as connected to BYU sports and I am because it is too expensive to take the family to a game.
Fill up the stadium. Make it affordable for everyone to go to a game. Make fans that will tune in for games for the next 60 years. Have an atmosphere that players want to be in. Focus on making money on media, branding, and donations rather than from ticket sales.
