The Thursday before I was in the emergency room with kidney stones and cancelled our flights for the next day. Told my son that night we couldn't go and he was pretty devastated. I woke up early Friday morning sedated with medication and told my wife I think we can make it. Called the airline and they reinstated our tickets with no fees. Woke up my son and I became father of the year that day to him. The game was awesome and the interaction we had with Oklahoma fans was first-class.
