It depends on what the CPU and system memory starts with….
If you have a 96c Threadripper and 128GB of memory it will be pretty efficient.
If you have an i5 and 16GB…..good luck.
The point of a GPU is to offload the process to a GPU that can do the work more efficiently than the CPU.
Best case is a good CPU and GPU.
