At the time of the last post, Muurinen was ranked #62 by 247 and has risen to #44. On3 already has him as a top 10 prospect.

"BYU is talking to several other top players, but one particular player I’m watching is Finnish Native Miika Muurinen. The 6-foot-10 forward is rated the #10 player in the 2026 class by On3 and has offers from just about everywhere. BYU got in line before the blue bloods and have prioritized Miika. Miika is an exceptionally skilled big that can stretch the ball and put it on the floor. The Jazz resigning Finnish native Lauri Markkanen doesn’t hurt."
