Harbaugh new about the sign stealing, but it is possible (small chance, but I guess could happen) that Stallions was just asked to steal signs the way most teams did via video and Harbaugh didn't know he went to greater lengths to cheat. Not saying I agree with that, but there are many ways to interpret a discussion on the sidelines.
