Japan decided to basically play defense and the U.S. game plan was a slow methodical attack.i saw where they broke the all time passing record by far. It reminded me of college basketball before the shot clock. Super boring.

Co vine that with our teams really poor passing once they did get the chance and you have a crappy soccer game. All ign all, I thought the Japanese team showed better technical skills in the rare moments they attacked, and had chances to score but no good finishers on that team.

Would have beeen much more of a game if the US would have made some attempts to stretch the field, but that takes pin point passing and receiving to work and they didn’t have that today. Germany will prove to be a severe test next week which I’m not sure they are up to right now.
