My dad had tickets and my mom was like “this girl asked you so you should go and it would be too late for her to get another date…yada yada yada”

So I went to the dance with a girl I didn’t really like. We went to the Pie for dinner. The TV has the game on. I just watched as much of it as I could. Had no idea how it ended until I got home and could watch the news.

Always regretted going to the dance and not the game.
