BTW, name me one single D1 head coach who in his first eight years had two seasons with abysmal records of 4-9, and 5-7, and then went on to have a single “special season”, and had a great successful rest of career.

*spoiler alert. There aren’t any. Dabo Sweeney is the only one who can come close. He had a 6-7 second season, and then has been good to great to elite since. So ONE bad year. And his ONE bad year wasn’t as bad as either of KS’s bad years. Not to mention KS’s other two 7-6 years. So not even really close to KS’s failure.

There is no one. But there’s still a huge contingent of BYU fans who think Kalani can do something special? That’s called delusion.
