I’ve been to bear lake a couple times… it’s not very pretty (no trees and topography is meh) and the water is freezing
I’ve never understood the hype unless you really want wide open water to boat in. But I never really found it to be very beautiful. Not sure how it could ever be considered the Bora Bora of anything
