Actually I think you’re undervaluing those teams
How back and watch the wac teams from the 70-80s for sure were pretty pathetic. Undisciplined and unathletic and tactically baffled by our schemes. At least most of CUSA were more sound if not as good of athletes. We can’t be “Gumble” ourselves. 😉
