To replace a valve (ages 53 and 55). Not fun, but as others have said, trust your Dr.s, nurses, etc. They do this a lot. It is different for everyone, but I leaned a lot on some friends who had gone through similar health challenges. Be patient with yourself during recovery, it WILL happen, but it takes time.
