Are transition lenses worth it?

I prefer dedicated sunglasses. Transition lenses are terrible as sunglasses.

Also, they don't always transition indoors as well as you'd like.

Everyone has their own opinion but I hated mine. I am not super sensitive to sun but I hated that they didn't work in
