I coached my boys teams when they were younger and tactics didn't really matter, but I take an assistant coach role and just help at practice and maybe coach the defense after 3rd grade.

My son is a 6th grader and this will be his last year playing, and though another coach was listed on the roster he didn't show up to the coach's meeting. I may have to run an offense...

Any advice at this age where puberty means some kids may really have some speed and size advantages (not my kid...)?
