Seems Mom was livid her daughter that had been on the JV squad The last two years didn’t make the team as a senior and that she got a few blisters during 2-a-day tryouts and still didn't make it.

Coach took player aside and told her his reasoning for not offering her a spot (basically she was less than or equal to younger players to put it nicely).

In the team thread with parents and players The mom posted an image of a text exchange wherein the player asked the coach where she stood prior to tryouts. The coach responded very kindly and truthfully and said she’d have every opportunity and they’d talk after tryouts, but that it would be an uphill battle.

The Program got a new, incredible coach and person last year, attracted most players in tryouts they’ve ever had this year, have some talented freshmen, had a couple players transfer in, including coach’s daughter (Coach came from a soccer powerhouse in Utah). Coach’s daughter is a really solid player. Already offered and committed to play next year in college.
