once they are filled they pretty much never have any more issues
I made the dumb mistake of believing a new dentist who was more aggressive in treating supposed cavities. I figured I'd be proactive and let him do the work even though nothing was bothering me. He did it wrong, and had to redo it. And I've been bothered by that spot ever since (almost 20 years). I didn't have any problem before and I wish I didn't have him touch it. I've never had a cavity (unless that counts). The vast majority of dentists I've seen say I have great teeth and no cavities. Occasionally if I have to switch dentists and I get one that sees cavities I ignore them and see someone else in 6 months.
If they aren't bothering you, I would go to a new dentist in 6 months for your regular cleaning and see if they see anything.
