Mike Ditka called Walter Payton the most complete football player he'd ever seen
but that is the only one I can think of. Hill is a better QB then Payton, but he never had to play the position except in some emergency situations. But he could do all of the other things Hill does. The only other people that come to mind would be Randall Cunningham or maybe a Mike Vick. Both better QBs and generational athletic talents, but not sure they could do, or would be willing to do, all the other stuff Hill does. Not sure how effective either would be at TE or continually running routes from the slot or split out wide. Nebraska had an option QB (Crouch, won the Heisman, too) that was drafted by the Rams as a WR, but got injured and was rumored to not want to change positions. But he was also similar in terms of overall football ability.

I think what makes Taysom so unique is not just his physical attributes, but his attitude as well. How many other top flight athletes, especially QBs, would be willing to go in on special teams as a gunner to get playing time? I think there are probably other NFL players who could have had a similar impact because of pure athletic ability, but I doubt there are any that have the humility and overall attitude that Taysom has. And that is what has allowed him to have such a unique and fun NFL career.
