And the guitar in that song doesn't sound like typical buttrock guitar solos, which is a plus in my mind. And when I listen closely what I hear is guitar playing that is just as technically impressive as a typical guitar solo. But then the sound, which as kirkko pointed out below, is laden with various effects, is so much better, in my opinion, than typical guitar solos. And I can't think of a guitar track that uses the wah pedal as masterfully as that one.

By the way, I am a fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar playing, though the sound/genre of his music isn't my favorite.
