June 27: Chris Sale pitches 7.0 innings, striking out 11 and gives up just 1 run. Braves lost 1-0 to the worst team in all of baseball White Sox.
July 25: Chris Sale pitches 7.1 innings, striking out 9 and gives up just 2 runs. Braves lost 3-2 to the Mets (a ghost run in the 10th being the difference).


It's not often a guy can give up a single run over 7 innings and go down as the loser in the score book.


On a positive note, Boston is paying nearly all of Sale's 2024 salary for Sale to pitch those tragic gems for the Braves.
