1. It should be career-focused, but definitely want to leave freedom to bring in a couple of other things if they bring something to the table
2. I interview experienced and well-paid people into jobs where there is a lot of ambiguity and decision-making and communications are important skills. I want to know what they think is important to tell me, and how they make the story, not give them a detailed list of what they should tell me.

This is not me trying to give them a "gotcha!" or fool them in some way. I hate people who do that. When you are in an interview, everything you say and do should be focused on making a connection with the interviewer and demonstrating why you are the best person for the job. That is interviewing 101.
