I used to sell them when I was a kid

I grew up in San Bernardino and I would go with my neighbors to sell them in the Food4Less parking lot. I would cruise around on my skateboard and find people in the parking lot that would trust me enough to give me $5 and then I would give them a dozen homemade tamales.
