watched it last night at an 11:30 pm showing. that was one of the first ones in the okc area that wasn’t sold out and every theater was showing it every 30 minutes. the people here are loving it. it was also cool watching a tornado movie at a theater that got hit by one of the biggest tornadoes ever.

the acting was solid. i could only tell that kate’s accent wasn’t real a couple times. she did really well. in the movie, she’s from the town my dad grew up in. unfortunately they didn’t actually film in sapulpa, but they did mostly film in Oklahoma during storm season. funny enough they had a lot of filming delays cause of actual storms.

the soundtrack was awesome. the special effects were awesome. had some funny moments. it wasn’t realistic, but it was a great movie.
