Volunteering at my kid’s high school band camp this week. My daughter walks out of the lunch room consoling a girl who was absolutely hysterical. My first thought was a boy dumped her or something. Nope, she saw or had a spider on her. Being an adult I understand people have phobias so I keep volunteering and put stuff away. TWENTY minutes later I see her again and she’s still hysterical. I simply can’t imagine what she was going through. Must be horrible.

Anybody else have a phobia this extreme? I wonder how therapists try to “cure” arachnophobia.
