Gustav Intervention Needed
The concept of a starter home is comparatively modern
Think about how much smaller old homes are in Utah, how many more kids were living in them at the same time in the past, and for how many of the parents of those kids they were "forever homes."

People weren't constantly trying to live at the upper end of their limits they could afford for a mortgage. You just bought a house and stayed there. Once your kids were gone, why would you need to get a new one?
