Water Heater replacement that was approved by the home warranty company. The non covered items are $675 for water, gas, and drain line connections and $575 to reseal the vent to the roof. This seems absurd to me for a water heater that only costs $500, but I don’t think I can shop around for quotes since the warranty company picked them. Not sure what my options are besides tell the warranty company no thanks and pay for it all myself but that probably won’t be any cheaper.
