The Olympic Committee has voted to have the 2034 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake! There were some anti-doping concerns among the committee, but overall, it was a home run win for Salt Lake. One member was quoted as saying, "Despite the horribly run, and rather embarrassing, performance of the local state-sponsored collegiate sports program, we have decided to vote in favor of SLC hosting the game. We made some considerations with the local university, as they will allow us to use their small, "free-to-defecate-anywhere", stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies. As long as some of the games are played in Provo, the vastly superior (academically and athletically) collegiate environment, we fully support this choice and look forward to another successful Salt Lake City Winter Olympic games."
