Depth and talent at DT is a major issue.

I’m reminded of the 2001 squad, with NFL talent at both D ends, at linebacker, and at safety. They could’t stop the run (or often much of anything), largely due to suspect play at the D tackle spot (safety and later, health at the cb spots, were additional issues).

Hope can’t be BYU’s strategy, but as a fan, it’s pretty much mine at this point.
