It is incredible to look at the list of 2025 BYU offers right now. This is a who's who of HS stars from that class. We only seem to be talking about Dybantsa, but in addition to him, we have offers out to the #4, #7, #11, #22, #24, and #27 players in the class. Apparently our "backup" options (in addition to Burgess) are MERELY top 100 players instead of top 25 players. A 247 rating of 98+ is a projected first round pick, while a rating of 90+ is considered most likely to be drafted at least in the second round. Every single one of these players with an offer, other than Burgess, is rated as a future draft pick, in other words. Four of them are rated as future first round picks. Even if we ONLY landed the worst 3-4 players on this list it would likely be one of our top 3 recruiting classes ever. If we could land at least two out of Staton, Harwell, Burries, Dybantsa, Wilson, or Khamenia, and one or two of the other guys, it could be our best class ever. I have no idea what our chances are with any of these guys, but considering that KY came in as a brand new coach and landed two top 40 guys in Demin and Catching, three top 100'ish guys in Crawford, Kozlowski, and Bahr, and two great transfers, I'm a believer. Not to mention the top player that committed but then couldn't get admitted to the school. Can't remember the name.

I wonder how many times this has happened, where a coach comes into a school that has a solid (but far from blue blood) reputation, and immediately starts recruiting like Duke or North Carolina. It is astonishing.
