impossible. Playing all-american and I think my defense is averaging 2 picks/ game. The only time I've been able to throw down field is when scrambling and one of my guys is unguarded 20 yards down field.

Passing that seems to work: 0-5 yard crossing routes, 0-5 out routes, 20% of the time verticals on press coverage, the occasional 15 yard in on a blitz that opens the middle.

Passing that doesn't work: Smash concepts. Post routes. Seem routes. 8 routes.

I love the computer DBs with their back turned towards the qb who when the pass is thrown, drop off their man, run across the field and undercut a ball thrown to another receiver.

Blitzing in zone coverage appears to be the most effective on passing downs. CPU still rushes way too much on 1st and 2nd down and by blitzing 6-7 on those downs you can put the CPU into 3rd and long.

Anyone able to pass successfully down field on a higher difficulty?
