The positives are that he is a passionate personality and has had a lot of mentoring/experience with Tom Homoe.

Negative are he is a hothead and doesn’t create the great relationships that our current AD is so skilled at (Even though she likes to golf with people). I also think sometimes Brian makes decisions for personal reasons as opposed to what’s best for the school. His friends and close acquaintances should NOT be getting special access, tickets, or privileges at BYU and its sports events. I think he gets a lot of personal validation through rubbing shoulders with Danny Ainge and others, especially in the basketball community. Brian is also a basketball first type of AD.

While you could definitely do worse than Brian, I think should look outside the current administration. However, I think that Chad Lewis would be a great ambassador for BYU.
