I can't stand Anne Hathaway, for one thing. She reminds me of someone I know, and it isn't a good thing. Second, the main character just grates on me. I haven't seen it in years. But I remember when I first watched it in the theater, I laughed at the scene where he raises the kid from the dead ("In with the good air; out with the bad air" - so cringe), and got some dirty looks. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I just legitimately found it funny.
