That team was so good. I think they were a little spaztic, but if they were
in the right mind and space, I think they could play with anyone in the country. I really believe that.
I would normally say that based on history and evidence, they wouldn’t make it far because Pope doesn’t do a good job of prepping his teams for tournament games. But that team was so full of tough, gritty, passionate, veteran leaders, that I think they could/might have overcome that.
